Our team of specialist, trained volunteers respond to one-off calls for assistance wherever we are needed. We are also routinely called on to support the professional emergency services (police, fire and ambulance), civil defence and local councils, as well as being employed to provide first aid and logistical support at a variety of community events.

Emergency assistance

Natural disasters and other emergencies

Our specialist training makes our personnel highly sought after to provide assistance during natural disasters, accidents and in searches for missing people.

After the Kaikoura quake, we assisted WREMO to look for people in distress around Upper Hutt.

When the Christchurch earthquake hit, our rescue personnel were quickly mobilised to provide operational assistance on the ground.

Events assistance and training

Do you need emergency first aid providers at your event? Perhaps you’re looking for general rescue training for your event or organisation?

Our well trained team can provide this and more. We can also support your event with transport (such as 4×4, quad bike and 8×8), communications (UHF, VHF, trunk radio) and general logistics.

Community service

Do you have an emergency or defence background or someone who is keen to serve your community? We want to hear from you.

We’re a well run organisation with more than 20 years’ experience. Our team trains weekly in first aid and rescue operations, keeping up-to-date with current rescue practices.
